Vladivostok Air Deputy General Director Dmitry Tyshchuk has announced that the airline plans to resume its seasonal summer service between Anchorage, Alaska, and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Russia, in July, 2012. During this first season, the service will operate once per week from mid-July until mid-September.  It is hoped a successful 2012 season will justify expansion of the service in 2013.

Pending resolution of several important operational issues, schedules should be finalized and inventory loaded in computer reservations systems  within December, 2011. Vladivostok Air will be offering travel packages to Kamchatka in conjunction with its travel partner, Kamchatinour. Vladivostok Air is also coordinating FAM trips for North American trip operators interested in meeting Kamchatka outfitters and creating their own tours.

The proposed schedule for the Summer service between Kamchatka and Alaska may be found here.

In addition, Vladivostok Air offers seasonal summer flights between Tokyo and Kamchatka on a charter basis, which may be booked through any Vladivostok Air office.
