Troika Dialog hires M&A execution specialist from Alfa Bank

Troika Dialog, one of the leading full service investment houses in the CIS, today announces the appointment of Sergei Khaliullin as a Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Execution team. Sergei will report to Dirk Werner, Managing Director and Head of M&A Execution. Sergei Khaliullin has nearly 12 years of global banking experience, having worked in Germany, the United Kingdom and Russia. He joins from Alfa-Bank, where he was Director of Corporate Finance responsible for originating and leading the execution of M&A and ECM transactions in the consumer, retail, transport and IT sectors. Prior to this he was Vice President of Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking Division and also held a number of international positions with Renaissance Capital and Goldman Sachs advising on M&A and equity transactions in the retail, consumer, FIG and mining sectors. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

This appointment is the latest in a number of senior hires as Troika Dialog expands and enhances its team. Troika Dialog has also recently appointed Steve Kale as Managing Director and Head of Equity Syndicate and Dimitri Casvigny as Managing Director and Head of Industrials, with both joining the company’s Investment Banking Division.
