The Indonesian Embassy organised a week long program of trade and cultural events in the embassy grounds to coincide with the Moscow Leisure & Travel Show (MLTS) 2008 at Crocus Expo. The festivities kicked off with a well attended bazaar with traders selling batik shirt  and dresses, carved wooden handicrafts, jewelry Indonesian food stuffs promoting Indonesian rattan furniture and tourism.

A cultural performance of music and dance and a trade Expo with a program of seminars complemented the tourism autumn tourism exhibition.

Indonesian ambassador Hamid Awaludin opened the event which was visited by the Malaysian ambassador, Dato Mohammed Khalis.
