Alexander has over 15 years of experience working in the investment industry. Most recently he occupied the post of Director and Senior Portfolio Manager Equity Products at Renaissance Capital where he was responsible for working with major private and corporate clients. Prior to this, Alexander was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Alfa Capital. He has experience of working at the New York offices of Bank of America and Lehman Brothers and also spent time working as a trader in Russian investment banking institutions.

Alexander graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with a major in Microelectronics, and is also the holder of an MBA awarded by the University of Michigan.
The appointment of Alexander Krapivko is the latest in a series of senior hires as Troika Dialog expands its team and prepares for the increased potential of a new era as part of Sberbank. Earlier in 2011 Troika secured the services of Chris Weafer as Chief Strategist, Olga Klimova as Global Head of Equity Sales, James Corrigan and Anton Malkov as Managing Directors in Investment Banking, and Todd Berman as Co-head of Investment Banking. Most recently, David Walker joined Troika as Managing Director of Investment Banking.
