Thames Valley Police is continuing to investigate the unexplained death of a 67-year-old man, believed to be Russian national Boris Berezovsky. A statement posted on the  police web site at 10.52 London time this morning said "CBRN (Chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) trained officers have concluded their examination of a property in Mill Lane, Ascot following the unexplained death and have given the scene the all clear".

Police with expertise in environments contaminated with chemical, biological and nuclear material are searching the house of the late exiled Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky, reported the BBC early Sunday morning. Mr Berezovsky, 67, was found dead on Saturday, and a Thames Valley police cordon remains in place as police investigate his unexplained death.

The former leader of the Russian oligarchs who backed Russian President Boris Yeltsin’s hold on power in the 1990’s was reported found dead in the bath at his home near Ascot, in Surrey this afternoon. Police are investigating. The 67-year old who had lost most of his sources of income since fleeing Russia to set up home in London in 2000 had recently been buffeted by losing a high profile court case against fellow oligarch Roman Abramovich which left him owing millions in legal fees.

Dubai-based Flydubai, a leading low-cost carrier, has announced it will double its network in Russia to eight points and add additional services in Ukraine. In Russia, the carrier will launch flights to Mineralnye Vody on 1April 16 followed by Rostov-on-Don and Volgograd on September 13. Operations to Krasnodar, meanwhile, will commence a week later on September 20. Flydubai offers the only year-round direct scheduled services to these cities, which are all located in South West Russia, a statement said.
