The Russian embassy has paid tribute to the Russia Visa application Centre in London on its third anniversary of operations. A statement on the Embassy web site reads “It is three years today (23 January) since the establishment of the Russian Visa Application Centre in London. We are proud to know that the London centre was the first Russian visa application centre in the world and it has proved its high efficiency throughout these years. Within three years, it has processed some 300,000 applications for Russian visas.
Visa applications for British citizens now have to be submitted on a new form that must be sent directly to the Ministry of Interior in Moscow, announced Visa facilitator Russia House in London.
The minstry of interior in Moscow will then send this form to the consulate in London.
“No reason was given for this move but we have been assured that this will not cause any delays and we can still provide a next working day or a six day- working day service as usual,” said the company’s e-mailed announcement.
